The Bottle
Museum

Created in 1985 our Bottle Museum holds a collective of interesting antique 19th and early 20th century Irish bottles, jars and vessels, some of which we excavated here on the farm. Visitors love the colour and quirkiness of the collection and how it’s a unique interest on their day out.

The Old Farmhouse
Museum

The Old Farmhouse dates back to the 16th century and holds secrets of rebels and raconteurs. It’s been the home of a seanchaí (storyteller) and a safehouse for fugitives fighting in the 1798 Rebellion. Restored with original furniture, utensils, weapons and wares, it’s a snapshot into historical Ireland that you won’t want to miss.

Wild Nature Walk

Wander through unspoilt countryside by the meandering Ballinanty Brook as you explore this wildlife nature reserve and rewilded areas. Follow on to Dragonfly Walk, where you wind your way through native woodlands and wetlands on a raised wooden walkway. View the diverse surrounds from the viewing platforms at the ponds. A magical walk.

Farm Animals

There are many wonderful animals to see. Meet Ernie, our cheeky donkey. See Annie and Jessie James, our horses living out their happy retirements in the fields. There are cows, pigs, sheep, turkeys and geese here too. We’ve got some very cute baby animals at different times of the year, so you may run into a lamb or a piglet playing, or even a baby chick. Visit the Hen Hotel to see some very fancy hens going about their business! There’s lots to see.
