Announcement: We are open everyday in June, July and August from 10am to 6pm, last entry is 5pm. You do NOT need to make a booking, just come along and pay at the gate. Please be warned at busy times (eg. weekends and bank holidays) we operate a one car in, one car out entry system.
Unfortunately we are not able to take group bookings in July and August, sorry for any disappointment caused. Also we have made some changes on site (re: Covid protocols) and there may be some queueing at our amenities when busy (in line with govt guidelines)…but in general we have ample space for social distancing.
Situated in the beautiful countryside of the Wicklow hills, only an hour south of Dublin, spend the whole day wandering around the farm in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With loads of attractions to check out, the day will be packed full of things to do and will keep all the family and kids fully occupied. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy, especially active kids! If you love nature, animals and the outdoors then you are coming to the perfect place. We are a small family farm trying hard to preserve our wildlife areas and natural habitats in the beautiful Wicklow hills. Our pretty traditional farm is full of biodiversity, educational nature fun activities and is a great day out for all the family with kids. Our farm is suitable for all ages, ranging from toddlers to senior citizens, kids parties and adult group tours, and our specially created guided tours for primary schools.
Families just come along as you can pay at the gate upon entry. You do NOT need to book in advance. Check out our opening times here.
The large 1/2 acre hedge maze is 7 feet tall and is a tricky puzzle to solve, the kids love it, while the solstice maze is a more gentle contemplative experience.
Children love getting lost in the maze but we also hope they find a love of nature. The wonderful fairy tree walk encourages kids to learn the names of our common trees by finding our specially hand crafted fairy doors. Kids really enjoy the challenge of the treasure hunt which meanders around the farm allowing the children to lead their parents in an exploration of the natural landscape and farming attractions.
Three traditional farming museums present exhibits which will awaken your imagination to a time of hand-made crafts and horse-drawn farm machinery. The old farm house includes a bottle museum and the farm barn showcases the larger pieces.
The farm animals prove a great attraction for the all kids as well as the adults. Our beautiful wild nature walk leads down by a stream to the dragon-fly ponds where our haven for wildlife can be enjoyed on a relaxed and un-rushed stroll.
Then relax and enjoy some delicious home baking in the coffee shop and browse through the local arts and crafts on display.
