A fun morning of soap making from 10am to 1pm, learning how to make luxurious natural soaps by the cold process method. Using all natural vegetable ingredients such as olive oil and coconut oil, scented with essential oils and coloured with natural herbs and spices, you can enjoy the sensual delights of creating your own delicious looking soaps which appear almost edible! A separate afternoon workshop will run from 2pm to 5pm with Eleanor Sutherland, a homeopath and herbalist, who will be making herbal lip balms, creams, lotions and ointments, using her extensive knowledge of herb lore and herbalism. Fun and practical day with hand made goodies to take home. Materials charge applies.

Will Wheeler teaches adults and children in schools (Heritage In Schools project) how to grow living willow structures, from domes to tunnels and fences, to arbours and willow garden climbers. Willow is a wonderfully versatile material and you will learn how to plant and weave the willow and how to maintain a mature willow dome. Domes make great play areas and shelters for kids and also leafy sun shades for adults in summer. Learn a practical craft creating beautiful structures to enhance your garden. Maximum 10 people.
